Plenty Magazine is worth a read. Plenty has been covering green companies well before many others in the media world. They had a great party at City Bakery (one of our favorite NY haunts) to celebrate their 'plenty 20' of great companies doing eco work. sweetriot was proudly featured in their goody bags, and the event was quite a good time. Even our friends and fellow rioters, Alfredo and Anessa, took time off to come play.
What happens when Levi throws a party in LA? People travel. In this case, I was in SF for an event in Napa and scheduled my flights to get to Levi's in time for some sweetriot cacao sponsorship. Levi even hired a D.J. -- nice -- girl power!
What do you when a rock and roll designer asks for sweetriot cacao for her Fashion Week show? Well you say, yes, of course! :)
Jordi Scott is an up and coming designer who just broke away from the fantastically creative Betsey Johnson to do her own line. We were there on Monday evening and it was ROCKING. Check out some photos here.
It's Fashion Week in NYC and the rioters are out and about. Nicole Romano is our designer from the NYC Chocolate Show, and we love to support her events.
Nicole asked us to serve cacao to her fashion week attendees and to riot inside her Fashion Week Show. Of course we couldn't resist that invite! Here are some photos of her beautiful designs. Melrose Bickerstaff, the runner up on Americas Next Top Model, was Nicole's funkiest model and a sweetriot cacao lover to boot (pictured above)!

It's late Tuesday and I just arrived in Park City. Sundance is about independent film not celebrities. However, as Sundance has grown, so has the celebrity scene. More and more celebrities are seeking scripts from independent film makers as they are edgier than the major studio work.
This year the film festival created buttons called 'Focus on Film' to encourage folks to stray from the glitzy, celeb, gifting suites and to instead focus on the soul of Sundance -- socially progressive, unaltered, raw, independent film and the filmmakers who create them.
Nevertheless, the celebrities were there in force and luckily happily eating sweetriot. Here are a few photos of Timothy Hutton, Cuba Gooding Jr, and Tara Reid.
It is hard (somewhat shocking) to believe another year as gone by. Wow. I hope you had a great New Year's and are looking forward to a great year ahead.
As a crazy entrepreneur, I had to make resolutions like trying to have a bit more culture in my life...translated this means making sure I do things outside of work. :) What were your resolutions?
sweetriot celebrated its 1st birthday this past Thursday. It could have been our anniversary but don't birthdays sound more fun?! We think so.

sweetriot supported the NYC book launch tonight of our friend, Travis Bradford, the new author of Solar Revolution. If you're intrigued by issues of green energy, global warming, and/or solar energy, this book is for you.
Travis is also involved in Atlas Capital Partners with Murat Armbruster and Alex Lewin - Atlas is focused on investing in sustainable, world changing organizations. Look out for all 3 of these visionaries as they continue to make a positive impact in the world.
Lake Como is simply breathtaking and so was this wedding. Mimi is Burmese American, and she and Ken had a magnificent traditional Burmese ceremony. The setting was the Villa used in Star War's Episode II movie. OK, so that's pretty cool, and it was stunning up close and personal!
After the wedding dinner, Mimi and Ken asked me to lead a chocolate and wine tasting -- I was lucky to have a partner in crime in Alex Hunt, a well-recognized British wine conniseur. Alex was great to work with (plus his lovely girfriend, Cath), and we set up a very tasty treat after an weekend of amazing food and wine. :) On Sunday we enjoyed a boat cruise and the cacao consumption continued.
