Our friend, rioter, and advisor, Bill, rioted at the fascinating LA IP conference recently.
Bill reports here: "Where could you find a collection of today's top Poets, Heroes and Philosophers??? At the 2008 Los Angeles/Idea Project held at the Barnsdall Gallery Theater. And, of course, sweetriot was on the scene.
This meeting of some truly great minds addressed issues as diverse as how architecture impacts our environment, how a next generation submersible can "fly" under water to depths of 36,000 feet, how one innovative group is tackling the challenges of today's school system, and how another successfully finds permanent solutions for the homeless problem facing our cities. Add to the mix a collection of truly inspiring artists, photographers, musicians (you can't beat a drum circle!!!) and filmmakers and that's a rioting good time. Thanks to the LA-IP for a day as fascinating as it was inspiring. Riot on!!!!"
