It was Carolyn's birthday last week and she wanted to go to Sugar Bar. I hadn't been and was willing to head to the Upper West Side for the occassion. (To Be Honest, I normally won't go North of 14 street and just hang out in my little Village all of the time.) :)
I actually keep calling it Sugar Rush because I felt like I had one the entire time! Not from sweet things but from the sweet music inside. It was open Mike night and the performers were simply incredible. Sugar Bar is owned by Ashford and Simpson, notable songwriters for many including Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin. Happy Birthday, Carolyn!
