I haven't spent a lot of time in South Carolina but when my friend and advisor, Peter, a New Orleans native told me about his annual crawfish boil, I couldn't resist.
Luckily all weekend the weather was beautiful, and I spent some time with the lovely Chef Akasha and Alan exploring the delicious local bakery, Kudzo, which has been covered by the Food Network. We also stopped by Perrone's for some wine and snacks.
If you have a chance to visit some May, the Carolina Coast is stunning. It was the perfect time of year for being outside with new and old friends.
