It's Earth Day, and sweetriot is excited to announce our new carbon offset program when you order sweetriot online. We are teaming up with Carbonfund.org to offer rioters the opportunity to get involved in the carbon offsetting movement. In fact, we are the first cacao & chocolate retailer to offer customers a chance to improve the world through carbon offsets. :)
sweetriot is offsetting all of its employee travel and office emissions and now you can join the effort by offsetting your shipment’s CO2 emissions. Just add ‘riot carbonfree’ to your sweetriot shopping cart. For just a small fee, you can offset your carbon emissions.
By doing so, you will invest 50¢ into climate-friendly projects such as energy efficiency, renewable energy, and reforestation. This effectively offsets the carbon dioxide emitted by delivery vehicles when shipping from our warehouse to your front door. Going “carbon neutral” is an easy way to take responsibility for the greenhouse gas emissions caused by our everyday activities.
