sweetriot served cacao this past weekend at Teach for America's Clambake benefit event hosted by GenArt and New York Magazine. It was a gorgeous setting on the beach in Amangansett in the Hamptons and one of our very first beach set ups. I think sweetriot did just fine in the sand. :)
Teach for America is an outstanding non profit and very worthy cause focused on improving our school systems through young and talented teachers. This fall, 1,000 outstanding recent college graduates will teach in 300 schools across New York City, reaching an estimated 75,000 students. Proceeds from the Clambake will support Teach For America's continued expansion in the city. If you're looking for an educational organization to support, I highly recommend looking at their work.
