The Tribeca Film Festival closed yesterday in NYC after 10 days of independent film screenings. sweetriot's cacao was featured with filmmakers and Heidi and I went to the awards after party in Chinatown.
Luckily I was able to see a few of the award winning films too.
Treatment
A classic New York story. A 30-something single teacher in therapy from his last relationship falls in love with an almost untouchable woman. Great casting and directing.
Cats of Mirikitani
Poignant. Touching. I call only hope it comes to your hometown. A true story of a homeless man with a treasure of stories from his Japanese background and imprisonment after WWII.
