The GEL conference just occured and we were honored to host a Thursday afternoon session on cacao. GEL is an international conference in NYC which brings together leaders and thinkers in design and customer experience. sweetriot was excited to host GEL's first ever cacao & chocolate session - we were among a wonderful set of hosts and speakers!
The GEL rioters gathered in the afternoon at our office on 116 W. Houston and were taken through a history of cacao, a cacao bean tasting, and more! We ended the afternoon at the MoMA Design Store in Soho. Here are a few photos of the tasting in action. Special thanks also to Nina, Kate, and Erica for their help.
