sweetriot returned home from Expo East tonight. our very first trade show - whew. Expo East is the largest natural products show on the East Coast, and we are quite excited about our recognition as "Most Innovative Product' Finalist.
Trade shows can be tough. Imagine 3 days of standing at a booth in bright flourescent lights with no time for meals and no sitting down. Luckily, we had a great team and lots of energy. There was endless cacao, the lovely lounge for guests, and rioting everywhere!
sweetriot believes in the 'little things' and this show was a great example for us. Each day we would improve our presence through additional little things -- an invite to our lounge, a riot-sign for walking around, a toast after a long day.
Huge thanks to Liz and Joe who joined Nina and me to spread sweetriot joy for 4 entire days. They rioted through the aisles and with everyone they met - you would have sworn that Joe and Liz had worked at sweetriot for years (oops, I guess we're just 3 days old)! Kivanc and Zeynep also joined us for a day as the Turkish delegation and were a great addition - thank you. Lastly a huge thanks to Nina for our beautiful booth design and her overall leadership as our #1 Catalyst of Cool Customers. The riot has only just begun.
great job at the show...it was a blast to have you next to us and look forward to seeing you at more shows. also, can't wait til next monday...we will have some fun
