Ok, let’s get a few things straight. =)

I am also now a very proud New Yorker who loves the urban life.
I have always loved chocolate and candy.
I also love culture and travel.
I love to spread joy and to celebrate with my friends and family
I want to build a company with a mission and with people and with products that I want to work with 24 hours a day.
I suppose due to all of those things above, I stumbled upon the chocolate industry (kind of like Willy Wonka) and I could not leave its grip. :)
This journey began many years ago but truly this quest started full-time in the summer of 2004. I had happily said goodbye to my Yahoo! career to focus on my crazy dreams instead.
My dream was to create a company with fantastic products, wonderful people, engaged customers, and a mission too.
As I looked at the candy industry, I felt like a bit more soul might just help, and I also became very fascinated with chocolate in all of its glorious forms.
Chocolate because of its taste.
Chocolate because of its ability to connect.
Chocolate because of its memories.
Chocolate because of its giving nature.
Chocolate because of its joy

What I didn’t realize was the true soul and origin of chocolate and that’s where the fun began.
