Virgin America, this summer's best choice!

 All rioters love flying on Virgin America... it's a sweet experience and not just because they sell sweetriot onboard.  :)

Since its launch in 2007, Virgin America has captured a list of travel industry awards including, “Best Domestic Airline for Food” in Travel + Leisure 2009 World’s Best Awards.   

They just announced their summer menu and once again Virgin America also offers a wide selection of snacks on-demand like sweetriot yumBars and Popchips.  :)

Mayor Bloomberg & sweetriot!

  sweetriot was honored to attend the Neighborhood Achievement Awards at Mayor Bloomberg's Gracie Mansion recently.... and drumroll... we were awarded 'Manhattan Small Business of the Year!'  What a treat and the good folks at the Mayor's office of small business services truly are dedicated to growing businesses in our fine city.  (If you look really closely at the photo, you'll notice that each award includes a customized photo from the NYC archives... in our instance, they gave us a photo of cacao trees from the 1930's!  How cool is that?!)

Beware of the heat - protect your sweetriot chocolate!

It is so hot in NYC!   I was just telling a friend it is like winter except there are 'gusts of heat' rather than 'gusts of snow.'    Just beware that you should protect your sweetriot chocolate by always keeping it in safe, shady spots and ideally always under 72 degrees.  Contrary to popular belief, chocolate does not belong in the refrigerator... just put it in cool, dry places.

It's Gelato Time! Ciao Bello and sweetriot... yum!

If you haven't tried Ciao Bella gelato, don't wait any longer!  Our rioting friend, FW Pearce, just wrote an amazing recipe book and guess what?!  sweetriot is the featured chocolate in their recipes!  You really have to check it out.... the team had the chance to test flavors and it was a tough job let me tell you!  Not only can you find the book at Books a Million but you can find our sweetriot tins at their cafes too!  If you live down South, you're the lucky ones.
